MEDLYNS AUTO SERVICES GIFT

Previous years, MEDLYNS AUTO SERVICES supported Parkes Harness Racing Club thru sponsoring this series race "Medlyns Castrol Gig Series", where in the winner trainer got an additional harness gig on top of the prizemoney. The series was conducted on a number of Heats on Parkes Harness race meetings on December, and the race final is conducted on the 31st of December during the New Years Eve Race Meeting (a.k.a "Fireworks Display At The Trots meeting).

This 2021, this race is now called MEDLYNS AUTO SERVICES GIFT, where in the winning trainer gets additional gifts such as full of of harness, hopples, and rug, on top of the prizemoney $13,260, courtesy of our sponsor MEDLYNS AUTO SERVICES.

The Medlyn family is closely involved with harness racing industry. Kevin Medlyn owns and trains some horses with his son, Blake, who in 2018, got his first drive in a trial.
