Parkes Locals Linda Taylor Gets A Chance at Toyota Yaris, and Bruce Dumesny's Horse Wins At Forb


Last Sunday, 30th of April, we saw Forbes Harness Racing Club conducted their 2017 Carnival Of Cups meeting. The club conducted an 8-race meeting, having the 12k prizemoney in Forbes Services Memorial final in Race 6.

After a long a spell, Glenferrie Bazaar is now back in the race track. Though owners and trainers are from Victoria, they decided to race Glenferrie in New South Wales. Parkes local Bruce Dumesny takes care of Glenferrie while he is here in NSW.


Last Month at West Wyalong, he finished 1st in the Heat and 2nd in the Finals.


On the memorial Heat conducted by Forbes on 25th of April, Glenferrie won the race with 1.8m margin and a mile rate of 2.03.6. He was driven by Amanda Turnbull to finish line. And during the Forbes Services Memorial Club Final conducted last weekend, Mat Rue drove him to finish line winning a 2.9m margin and a mile rate of 2.02.

Mr. Dumesny is preparing him to race in Cowra meetings this coming weekend, and on its Carnival Of Cups meeting on the 14th of May.


On other news, Parkes local Linda Taylor has another luck came her way when her name was drawn out, and she is one step closer on winning a brand new car at the end of harness racing season 2016-2017 during the Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) Annual Awards Night.
