September marks the new season for the harness racing community, and as we start a new harness racing season 2017-2018, lets take a look back on what happened on the last meeting of the previous season.
This 4 year old mare, Smooth Mace, is by John Street North x Roulette Rhythm. It was a big improvement for her this year, and Team Smooth Mace did a fantastic job.
She started on 18 races on Season 2016-2017. She won 5 of those starts, place 2nd on 5, and finished 3rd on 1 start. And she also recorded her best winning mile rate of 1.58.6 this season when she won at Parkes Harness on 13th of August 2017.
She is being trained by Parkes Local David Harris, and almost all of her races were driven by David Harris or Robert Harris.
